Can I change ticket prices after people have already bought?

Yes. You can update a ticket type's price at any time from the Ticket types page.

How it works

The new price applies to any purchases made after you save the change. Anyone who already bought tickets at the old price is not affected — they won't be charged more, and they won't receive an automatic refund for the difference.

If you're lowering the price

Existing buyers won't be automatically refunded the difference. If you want to honour the lower price for early buyers, you'd need to handle that manually on a case-by-case basis from your Orders tab.

A cleaner approach for early-bird pricing is to use a separate ticket type (e.g. "Early Bird — $25") with a limited quantity, then let it sell out before your standard price ticket takes over. That way the pricing tiers are transparent and buyers know what they're getting.

If you're raising the price

Anyone who already purchased at the lower price keeps their tickets with no additional charge. Only new buyers see and pay the updated price.
