Give your team scanner access

You can share a dedicated check-in link with volunteers or staff so they can scan tickets on the day without logging into your organizer account.

How it works

From your event, go to the Overview tab and look for the Check-in tokens section. Generate a token and you'll get a unique URL that opens directly to the scanner for your event.

Anyone with this link can scan tickets for that event. They don't need a Matter Tickets account.

Creating a token

  1. Open your event and go to Overview
  2. Scroll to Check-in tokens
  3. Click Generate token
  4. Copy the link and share it with your team

You can generate multiple tokens — one per volunteer if you want to be able to revoke individual access later.

Revoking access

Delete a token to invalidate its link. Anyone who had that link will no longer be able to use it.

What the scanner link can do

  • Scan QR tickets and mark attendees as checked in
  • View the attendee list for that specific event

It cannot access any other part of your organizer account, edit your event, or view financial information.
