Did my payment go through?
The clearest sign that your payment succeeded is receiving a confirmation email from Matter Tickets. It arrives within a few minutes of purchase and contains your order details and QR ticket.
How to check
1. Check your email — search your inbox (and spam folder) for an email from Matter Tickets. The subject line will include your event name.
2. Check your bank or card statement — if you see a charge from Matter Tickets or Stripe, the payment went through. If no charge appears within a few hours, the payment likely didn't complete.
3. Log in to your account — if you have a Matter Tickets account, go to mattertickets.com/tickets. Your order will appear there if it was successful.
What if the charge appeared but no confirmation came?
This can happen if:
- Your email address was entered incorrectly at checkout
- The confirmation landed in your spam folder
- There was a brief email delay
Check your spam folder first. If it's not there and you're confident the payment went through (you see the charge on your statement), contact the event organizer — their details are on the event page.
What if I'm not sure and don't want to get charged twice?
Don't retry the checkout without confirming the first attempt failed. Check your statement and email first. If there's genuinely no charge and no confirmation, it's safe to try again.
Duplicate charges
If you see two charges for the same event, contact the event organizer immediately. Refunds for duplicate charges can be processed back to your original payment method.
