What is a QR ticket and how do I use it?
A QR ticket is a digital ticket with a unique scannable code. It works exactly like a paper ticket — show it at the door and the organizer scans it to let you in.
Where to find your QR code
Your QR code is in your confirmation email, attached to or displayed within the order confirmation.
If you have a Matter Tickets account, you can also view your ticket at mattertickets.com/tickets — log in and open the relevant event.
Showing it at the door
Open your confirmation email (or the ticket page) on your phone and show the QR code to the person checking you in. They'll scan it with their phone or tablet.
You don't need to print anything. The digital version works perfectly.
Tips for a smooth check-in
- Turn up your screen brightness before you get to the door — scanners read bright screens faster
- Download your email offline if the venue has poor signal, or screenshot the QR code so you don't need a connection
- If your QR code won't scan for any reason, the organizer can look you up by name or email and check you in manually
Can I send my ticket to someone else?
Yes — forward the confirmation email to whoever is attending. Each QR code is unique, so only one person can be checked in per ticket. Once a code is scanned, it won't scan again.
