Do ticket buyers need to create an account?
No. Buyers can complete checkout and receive their ticket entirely without creating a Matter Tickets account.
What happens without an account
Buyers enter their name and email at checkout. Their order confirmation and QR ticket are sent to that email address immediately after purchase. That's all they need to get in the door.
What an account adds
If a buyer creates an account using the same email address they used to check out, they can:
- View all their tickets in one place at mattertickets.com/tickets
- Access tickets without searching through email
- See past and upcoming events in a single dashboard
Does creating an account cost anything?
No, it's free. Buyers can sign up at mattertickets.com/auth/signup any time — before or after making a purchase.
What if a buyer loses their confirmation email?
If they don't have an account, the confirmation email is the only way to access their ticket. They should check their spam folder first, then contact the event organizer. If they do have an account, they can log in and view their ticket directly.
