How much does Matter Tickets cost?

For organizers

Creating an account and listing events is free. Matter Tickets charges a small per-ticket fee when a paid ticket is sold — there are no monthly fees, no setup costs, and no charge for free events.

Free events — always free. No fee to you, no fee to buyers.

Paid events — a platform fee is deducted from each ticket sale. The fee is a percentage of the ticket price plus a small fixed amount per ticket. You can choose to absorb this fee yourself or pass it on to buyers at checkout.

For ticket buyers

When you buy a ticket, you may see a booking fee on top of the ticket price. Whether this appears — and how much it is — depends on how the organizer has configured their event. Some organizers absorb the fee so buyers see a single price; others pass it on.

The fee is shown clearly before you confirm your purchase. There are no hidden charges added after checkout.

Do I need to pay anything upfront?

No. You only pay (or earn, as an organizer) when tickets are sold. There is nothing to pay to get started.
