Schedule your event to publish automatically

Instead of publishing immediately, you can pick a future date and time for your event to go live automatically.

How to schedule publishing

1. From your event, go to Review & publish
2. Under "When to publish," select Schedule for later
3. Pick your date and time — it must be at least 5 minutes in the future
4. Click Schedule

Your event is saved as "scheduled." It will go live at exactly the time you set, with no action needed from you.

What happens when the event goes live

• The event page becomes publicly visible
• Ticket sales open immediately
• You'll receive a confirmation once the event is published

Changing or cancelling a scheduled publish

Go back to Review & publish at any time before the scheduled time. You can:

• Update the scheduled time by selecting a new date and clicking Update schedule
• Switch to Publish now to make it live immediately instead

Time zones

The date and time picker uses your local time zone as set by your browser. The scheduled publish will fire at the correct moment regardless of what time zone your attendees are in.
