When do I get paid?

Matter Tickets uses Stripe to process payments, so your payout schedule is controlled by Stripe — not by us.

How payouts work

When a buyer purchases a ticket, the payment is processed through your connected Stripe account. The funds land in Stripe and are then paid out to your linked bank account on Stripe's standard schedule.

By default, Stripe pays out on a rolling basis — typically 2 business days after each charge in the US, though this varies by country. You can view and adjust your payout schedule directly in your Stripe dashboard.

Checking your balance

Your current Stripe balance and upcoming payouts are visible in your Stripe dashboard. Matter Tickets doesn't hold your money — it goes directly into your Stripe account after each sale.

When Stripe isn't connected yet

If you haven't connected Stripe, ticket sales cannot be processed. Make sure your Stripe account is active and fully verified before publishing a paid event. See how to connect Stripe.

Free events

If your event is free, there's nothing to pay out. No Stripe account is needed.

Refunds and your balance

When you issue a refund, Stripe deducts the refunded amount from your Stripe balance. If your balance is insufficient to cover the refund, Stripe will debit your bank account for the difference. Make sure you have funds available before processing large refunds.
